The Dolly Steamboat at Canyon lake offers an astrology cruise up the Gorge starting at sunset. This is the magnificent slab at the entry to the Gorge in the fading light with the glow of green reflecting off the water. I captured this magic moment in the oil and cold wax medium. The wall towers above you and looks especially imposing in the gloaming. Theodore Roosevelt declared the Gorge one of the most impressive in the country.
