I had 15 minutes of glowing Sunset on a back road in west Sedona to capture a memory and a shot, but had to stand out in the road to get it; dodging roofs, air conditioners and cars. I was taken with the composition of the monuments with the Sharks Fin being the most prominent. The glow is almost surreal at that time of night. I used oil and cold wax back in the studio to recreate the effect.
