When leaving the north rim of the Grand Canyon area, we stopped at a lookout that showed the open high plans all the way to Kayenta. The rocky ledge held tree's clinging to the cracks of the rocks, with a great juxtaposition of colors and textures. I've always enjoyed dead tree's, and this one still clung to the side of the cliff.
